Rodney R. Roberts has over 37 years of architecture and construction experience. Rodney has designed and constructed everything from retail, office and medical facilities to industrial, distribution and detention centers. His true passion and enjoyment comes from the seeing a project through from inception to completion.
Whether working on an upscale residential job or a massive warehouse development, Rodney’s decades of experience ensure that the entire project is professionally managed from start to finish. This project delivery method is known as “Design/Build” and has become more prominent in the last 30 years and is especially satisfying to those rare individuals who have the expertise for managing all phases of a construction project.
For the maximum benefit of all involved in projects, Rodney strives to forge lasting relationships, built on trust with clients, engineering groups, subcontractors and suppliers.
FOUNDER
After graduating in 1978 from Texas A&M University with a Master of Architecture degree, Rodney worked for S. I. Morris Architects in Houston and became a registered Architect in the State of Texas. He returned to his home town of Midland in 1980 and spent the subsequent 7 years working exclusively as an architect. Rodney took his experience to N. C. Sturgeon LP in 1988 and spent the next 20 years directing architecture for the firm and managing many of their construction projects.
In 2008 Rodney decided to venture out on his own and make the most of his design creativity and construction management skills. With the creation of Rodney R. Roberts, AIA, and Rodric Properties Construction Group, he was able to take on projects that were personally satisfying as well as intellectually stimulating.
